BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On May 18, at approximately 11 p.m., deputies with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Paloma Street to the call of a victim of a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male suffering from traumatic injuries.
The victim later died of his injuries.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
The identity of the deceased will be withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Coroner’s Office.
