KCSO searching for third suspect in stabbing of 45-year-old woman in Wasco

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said it looking for Juan-Manuel Diaz for the alleged stabbing of a 45-year-old woman on October 21 in the area of 1600 4th Street in Wasco.

Deputies said Diaz and two more suspects, 27-year-old Antonio Diaz and 22-year-old Mariano Diaz stabbed the woman several times.

Deputies from the Wasco Substation said they were able to arrest another suspect in connection with the stabbing of a 45-year-old woman.

Officials said on On Tuesday around 8:45 p.m., they arrested 27-year-old Antonio Diaz in the area of Interstate 5 and 7Th Standard. Diaz was booked into the Kern County Jail for attempted murder, burglary, child endangerment, false imprisonment, conspiracy.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Bakersfield man in connection to the stabbing of a 45-year-old woman in Wasco.

On October 20th, KCSO deputies responded to the call of a stabbing in Wasco. When they arrived, they found the woman suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to Kern Medical.

Authorities determined that 22-year-old Mariano Diaz, as well as two additional suspects, were involved in the attack. Diaz was arrested on October 23rd and charged with attempted murder, as well as child endangerment, false imprisonment, and conspiracy.

KCSO has not released a motive in connection to the attack and the condition of the victim is not known at this time.
