Man suspected of vehicle fire wanted by Bakersfield Fire Department

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man suspected of setting a fire to a vehicle in Central Bakersfield is wanted by the Bakersfield Fire Department.

According to fire investigators, the man was walking in the 3400 block of M Street on Monday, April 19 when he set fire to a vehicle at a residence.

BFD describes the suspect as a bald, heavy set, tall white or Hispanic man with a moustache and possible tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was last seen wearing denim jeans with a long sleeve blue shirt and brown work boots.

He was seen leaving the area in a silver, late model 4-door Chevrolet Cruz with damage to the passenger front fender and tinted windows.
