BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On May 27, KCSO were called to the 1000 Block of F street in Wasco to respond to a possible homicide.

Upon arrival a dead body was located, an adult male with multiple stab wounds.

KCSO successfully identified the suspect as 28-year- old Juan Carlos Ortega.

Ortega was arrested May 29, around 8:30 p.m.

Ortega was booked into the Kern County Jail for the murder of Javier Ibarra-Ibarra.
