BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Taco Bell is welcoming guests and preparing for their summer rush.

Taco Bell's city operations leader in Bakersfield, David Rutter, said “When the kids get out is when our business, that’s when we do a majority of our business through the year. It’s a great time, suns out later, which means we’re going to have more business and customers coming to visit us.”

To get ready for that summer rush of business Rutter said Taco Bell need to hire 250 new employees across their 21 Bakersfield locations.

“We have tons of positions," said Rutter. "Our team member positions which are service and food champs. We also have some shift leader positions. And we’re going all the way up, we’re looking for great candidates that could be our GMs one day for us.”

On April 23rd to the 25th Rutter said three Bakersfield Taco Bells are hosting parties to find new team members. They’re calling them Hiring Parties. There will be held inside their restaurants on April 23 on Union Avenue, April 24th on South H Street and April 25 on Niles Street.
