'The Ivy League Project' coming to Kern County

The Ivy League Project will be offering workshops to help students to prepare for the application process for Ivy League universities.

The ILP has scheduled Saturday Leadership Seminars this year in McFarland as well as the annual ILP East Coast eight day trip.

The program selects the most talented and promising high school students and takes them to visit the top universities on the east coast.

Student must:

- be in 9th, 10th or 11th grade
- be enrolled in College Prep, Honors, or Advanced Placement classes
- have a 3.75 grade point average or higher
- be willing to take part in fundraising for the trip
