We've put together speeches made by the speakers at the 2016 Bakersfield Business Conference.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio focused mostly on undocumented immigrants and transitioning prisoners from inmates to life outside prison.

When asked about how he felt about farm workers who had been in the United States for years, Sheriff Joe said, "Why did they come here to begin with illegally? They should not have come here illegally, something has to be done."

The Maricopa County sheriff has publicly endorsed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and stated that Trump is the only one to bring public focus to immigration, a topic Arpaio believes need more attention.

Former Lakers star and Dodgers co-owner Earvin "Magic" Johnson also made an appearance at the conference. Sharing his dream to bring strong business ethics to urban America, Johnson said, "Scones... And Rolling Stones wouldn't work in my Starbucks. I know my customers and that wouldn't have worked for them."

As one of the more social speakers, Johnson roamed the crowd during his speech and even stopped to take photos with fans.

One lucky attendee even got his retro Lakers jersey signed by Johnson.

Hermain Cain made an appearance to talk about the American Dream and to give voters hope not to give up on the United States of America.

Events in the main tent were capped off with thee American heroes speaking to the crowd.

Retired American solider and U.S. Medal of Honor recipient Leroy Petry, former Army Captain Dan Quinn, and Captain Richard Phillips spoke to the crowd.
