The Kern County Sheriff's Office shared that 21-year-old Brandon Allen Fanning was the victim of a shooting on November 10.
Fanning was shot on Pearl Street, just south of Highway 178. He was taken to Kern Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing. The coroner's office will complete a postmortem examination to determine Fanning's cause and manner of death.
