Fighting crime leaves the streets and enters the ring Friday night for the 24th annual Battle of the Badges.

The event has brought out police, sheriff's deputies, correctional staff, probation, public defenders and the DA's Office. 

You'll get the chance to watch them show off their boxing skills at 5:30 p.m. at the Icardo Center.

The proceeds benefit the Bakersfield Police Activities League.

Tickets are $20 and ringside seats are $40.
