Dozens of athletes will be battling it out in the mud later this month, and it's all for a good cause.

The 25th Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament will take place on June 23 at Stramler Park. The tournament benefits the Epilepsy Society of Kern County. 

Team registration begins Friday, June 1 at $400 per team. After June 9, registration goes up to $415.

The deadline to sign up is June 15.

Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help with set up.
