BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police welcomed 26 officers to their department Thursday morning.

Loved ones watched on as training academy class 1901 walked across the stage. They began the academy back in August and are now graduating after months of training.

The ceremony includes a badge pinning ceremony for the 26 new officers.
