A man in southeast Bakersfield found his truck covered in offensive slurs on Saturday.
The truck was found outside the man's house with offensive graffiti, and his vehicle was the only one targeted.
The man, named Wesson Cherry, reached out to 23 ABC in shock after he discovered the hateful words and symbols.
"I live in a neighborhood diverse with all kinds of culture and the tolerance is there," Cherry said.
"But this is clearly somebody that was trying to illicit some kind of intolerance, but it's not typical of what I've experienced."
A police report has been filed.
