Adventist Health Bakersfield is offering free flu shots Saturday.
The CDC recommends people get a vaccine for the flu by the end of October. It takes about two weeks after getting the shot to build up immunity.
The Adventist Health drive-thru clinic begins at 7:30 a.m.
