After losing her baby at 36 weeks, woman starts walk for 'angel babies'

Posted

In October of 2017, Trinity Brown was 36 weeks pregnant when one morning, she couldn't feel her baby moving. She went to the doctor and was told her baby no longer had a heartbeat.

She turned the loss of her child into motivation to make a difference, creating the Noel Alexandria Foundation in her baby girl's name.

Saturday, October 13, she's hosting the foundation's first 5K at CSUB. Her goal with the foundation is to create a platform for parents who have also had stillborns or miscarriages to come together and support each other. She also wants to raise money to help future families going through situations like this, because she says the financial burden that follows losing an unborn baby is one no one can prepare for.

The walk begins at 8 a.m. at CSUB Saturday. You can register here. There will also be booths with information and support for families who have had to deal with this type of loss.
