The Kern County Department of Airports has announced a new service via Meadows Field.
American Airlines will add a fourth daily flight to Phoenix beginning March 6, 2016.
The flight will provide more seats daily, an increase to 4 flights from the three flights currently offered.
The CRJ will provide a total of 1,000 more seats monthly. The Phoenix hub provides a wide range of connection opportunity for travelers.
The new jet service between Phoenix and Meadows Field will increase seating capacity by 12,000 seats annually for the benefit of Kern County residents.
