The average price of gas in Bakersfield has fallen 6.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.90 a gallon, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 300 gas outlets in Bakersfield.
The national average on the contrary has increased 2.1 cents per gallon in the last week.
