As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Adventist Health of Bakersfield is hosting VIPink, an event with reduced-price 3D mammograms, boutique shopping and more.
On Thursday, the Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center in central Bakersfield is hosting a night to spread awareness and education on breast cancer.
In addition to the latest information in breast health, the event is offering reduced-price 3D mammograms. There will also be beauty and cosmetology vendors and tastings from local restaurants.
The event is free and is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 2620 Chester Avenue.
Other events Adventist Health is holding this month include Breast Myths BUSTed on Oct. 18 and free breast screenings on Oct. 24.
