Bakersfield Police chased a suspect across rooftops in east Bakersfield on Sunday.

Police were called to the area of east Bakersfield near University Ave. for a suspicious person. When they arrived, they found a suspect breaking into a home.

The suspect began to flee and climbed on top of the house, then began to jump from roof to roof.

Police pursued the suspect and were able to catch him on one of the roofs.

One officer sustained minor injuries during the pursuit.
