Bakersfield Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Chevron on Wible and White Lane in southwest Bakersfield on Friday night.

BPD says it happened just before 8 p.m., and that the suspect was armed with a hand gun and made off with cash.

The business described the suspect as a black male in his 50's, 5'10" with a stocky build and wearing a black baseball hat, white t-shirt and black pants.

Police say that it's unknown how much cash was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
