The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance identifying and locating a suspect wanted for burglary.
On July 7, 2016, around 6:45am, a suspect entered the Thrifty Wash Plus Laundromat at 525 West Columbus Street,and attempted to force open the cash machine. After he was unsuccessful, he fled the business in a gold or tan older model 4-door, possible Volkswagen Jetta, rear tinted windows and a possible sunroof.
The suspect was a white male, late 20s to early 30s, 5’10”, 160-180, sandy blonde hair, white baseball cap, dark t-shirt, black shoes and a wrist watch on his left arm.
