Bakersfield police share intersections with highest number of incidents

The Bakersfield Police Department is ramping up their presence in some of the most dangerous spots for pedestrians.
 
All the incidents are related to an injury or fatality.
 
The top high incidence intersections in 2016, number of incidents in parentheses:

  • Union Avenue at California Avenue (3)
  • 4th Street at Union Avenue (2)
  • Columbus Street at Mount Vernon Avenue (2)

  • Hageman Road at Riverlakes Drive (2)
  • Ming Avenue at Akers Road (2)
  • Oak Street at California Avenue (2)
  • Stockdale Highway at Village Lane (2)
  • Union Avenue at 17th Street (2)
  • Union Avenue at 18th Street (2)
