The Bakersfield Track Club is starting up their summer running series on Tuesday.
The group will be holding their first 5K race at Hart Park on June 2 at 7 p.m.
The Summer Series races are held every other Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The last race on August 7 will be a fun run with a volleyball game and an awards dinner in the park.
To participate in a single race, the cost is $7 for non BTC members and $5 for members.
Students can run for $3.
