BFD 1976 American LaFrance "Spirit of '76" Pumper was located and purchased in 2015 by the Fire Department non-profit Bakersfield Firefighters' Relief Association (BFRA) from a private party for future preservation and restoration by the non-profit Bakersfield Fire Historical Society (BFHS).
