BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible homicide just south of McFarland.

According to KCSO officials, deputies were called out just after 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon, after the body of an adult man was found with traumatic injuries in a field off Whisler Road and Garzoli Avenue.
