"BHC is committed to serving the fastest growing population of homeless in our community – our children – who cannot speak for themselves or ask for our help. On average, over 100 children a night stay at BHC; sleeping warm, snug and well fed. BHC helps these underserved, but not undeserving children, not only with food, clothing, and shelter, but also with Discovery Depot, the first licensed childcare facility operating within a homeless shelter in California. BHC is dedicated to serving homeless children and assisting their parents in taking control of their family’s future. Together, we can break the cycle of homelessness by reaching into the lives and hearts of the homeless and instilling the knowledge and support needed to become self-sufficient."
