BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Three people were cited for reckless driving and had their vehicles impounded following a street racing enforcement operation.

Bakersfield Police held multiple operations throughout the city Saturday to catch street racers.

Saturday at a shopping center on White Lane and Hughes Lane, officers cited 21-year-old Andrew Arista, 27-year-old Richard Demetrio, and 21-year-old Guillermo Soto.

There were no injuries reported during this incident.

BPD said they have planned additional street racing enforcement operations for the next several months.
