BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police Department and the California Highway Patrol issued multiple citations Friday as part of their effort to stop street racing in Bakersfield.
Officials said they made 12 traffic stops, issued 11 citations and impounded one vehicle.
Additional operations are scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.
