The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for the community’s input on making their website as user-friendly as possible.
The department currently has a “Police Zones” section to help residents find who to contact with questions or concerns regarding their neighborhood.
Community members can search for their home or business address to see which police zone they are in, and contact information is provided for the specific zone’s Zone Commander, Community Relations Specialist, and Community Relations Liaison Officer, as well as a brief description of how they can assist your neighborhood.
Police are considering changing the title "Police Zones" to "Your Neighborhood Reps" "Your BPD Reps" "Your BPD Contacts" "Where Do You Live?" or "Find Your Zone".
