The Bakersfield Police Department believes two shootings overnight in Southwest Bakersfield could be related.

BPD tells 23ABC that a shooting was reported on Trojes Way late Tuesday night. The victim was later found at Kern Medical with at least one gunshot wound.

While officers were at Kern Medical dealing with that victim, a second victim showed up with at least one gunshot wound.

Police say that victim was shot in the area of Panama Lane and H Street.

Police believe both shootings are related.
