The Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce and the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce teamed up to bring a networking event to the Rabobank Convention Center on Thursday Oct. 26.
The 2017 Business Conference and Expo will have workshops that will touch base on finance, health and wellness technology and will have over 100 vendors and caterers.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. for the workshops which will be held from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Speakers will address the audience from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and the expo will follow from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The conference will feature speakers like actress, author and singer Nia Peeples; President and CEO of Mid State Development Center Keith Brice; banking specialists Gina Ramirez and Sonia Lara; and Kelly Bearden, director of the CSUB Small Business Development Center.
Cost to attend is $5 per person at the door.
