Power is out to at least 500 residents in Northwest Bakersfield following a car crash early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car crashed into a power pole around 3 a.m. in the area of Nord Avenue and Stockdale Highway. That crash knocked down power lines. Traffic in the area has been shut down.
According to PG&E, more than 500 residents in the area are without power.
It's not known when power will be restored.
