UPDATE: Bakersfield Police say they are still looking for anyone who might have been involved in the crash off the Westside Parkway.
They said when they showed up no one was in or near the car. Officials also said the car was cold to the touch, meaning it could have been sitting there for some time.

The Bakersfield Police Department is looking for anyone who might have been in a car that crashed off the Westside Parkway early Tuesday morning.
Bakersfield Police and Kern County Fire officials responded to the area of the Westside Parkway between Coffee and Calloway just before 4:45 Tuesday morning.
Officials found a car that was wrecked, but couldn't find anyone inside or in the area.
Crews continue to search the area looking for anyone that might have been involved.
