An investigation is underway following a car crashing into a train in East Bakersfield.

 

The crash happened a little before 2:30 a.m. on Edison Highway and Vineland, and California Highway Patrol said it appears the vehicle came to a stop on the tracks after missing their turn. CHP said the driver left the vehicle and fled the scene.

 

No injuries have been reported.

 

The investigation is ongoing.
