BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Thousands of Kern County seniors said their final goodbyes to high school and received their diplomas Wednesday night.

Eight high schools graduated their Class of 2019 on Wednesday.

East High, Stockdale and West High School gathered in the Rabobank Arena and Convention Center while Continuation High School, Mira Monte, Ridgeview, Shafter and South held its ceremonies on home turf.
