BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police and Fire have detailed what the Measure N funds will go towards during their agenda for the special meeting of the Citizens Oversight Committee.

Bakersfield Police plan to add 100 officers over a three year period, body worn cameras for all officers totaling $500,000 and a $17 million project for Public Safety Radio Modernization.

Bakersfield Fire plans to hire 11 positions in the first year and 12 positions in the second year.
