If you or someone you know is looking to go to college, head over to the Rabobank Convention Center tonight to explore different opportunities.

More than 100 schools will be at the convention center today answering any questions from the thousands of students expected to show up.

The students will learn about writing a personal statement, how to prepare for the SATs and will receive information on financial aid.

This is the 16th time the Kern County Superintendent of Schools hosts college night to show students the opportunities they have when choosing their higher education. Representatives from public and private colleges and universities will be on hand, including local schools like Bakersfield College and CSUB.

College night is completely free and reservations or tickets are not required. The event kicks off at 5:00 pm at the Rabobank Convention Center off Truxtun Avenue.
