Community Action Partnership of Kern’s (CAPK) Food Bank program will host the no cost Farmers’ Markets on June 9 in Wasco, in partnership with The Wonderful Company and on June 16 at the Kern County Fairgrounds.

Families, seniors and adults who can’t afford fresh, healthy produce and staple foods can pick them up for free.

No ID is required.

The public can visit these no cost Farmers’ Markets at the following times and places:

JUNE 16

Community members can pick up goods at Gate 30 at the Kern County Fairgrounds at P Street and Belle Terrace from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

JUNE 9

Community members can pick up goods at Annin Park, 935 Gromer Avenue in Wasco from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
