Saturday is Community Clean-Up day in downtown Bakersfield. 

City Council member Andrae Gonzales, who represents the downtown area, is leading the clean up.

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at the Fox Theater located at 2001 H Street. 

The clean up will last until 11 a.m. 

The event is being held in hopes of keeping Bakersfield beautiful.
