BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A 71-year-old man drowned after he accidentally fell into a swimming pool while doing yard work, according to the Kern County coroner.
According to officials, Alberto Flores Garcia was doing yard work at a home in Northwest Bakersfield when he fell into a swimming pool and died.
The coroner said an examination was performed and the cause of death is drowning, with a contributing factor of Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease.
