CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — The Kern County Coroner has identified the victim of a traffic accident with a pedestrian in California City on Thursday, December 13.
According to police, 52-year-old Lydia Torres was a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle on California City Boulevard, west of Wonder Avenue at approximately 5:50 p.m. She died at the scene.
A postmortem examination has been scheduled to confirm the cause and manner of her death.
