Standardized testing is scheduled for next week in the Beardsley School District.  Teachers decided to take a creative way to ease in to the typically tense test taking time.

The musical, "Mighty Minds" was put on by San Lauren Elementary School's third graders and presented to the entire student body.  The message -- no need to stress, all you need is your "Mighty Mind."

"We just want them to feel confident about what they've been learning and not be stressful about the test and have fun, " said third grade teacher Rhonda Martin.

Students said the musical was a fun way to get ready for next week's testing.

"Well it was a lot of fun.  It's just a really fun play to teach kids not to be stressed out about the test we have to take,"  said student Zoe Mouton.

Third grader Via Cortez has advice for students taking those big tests next week,

"Believe in yourself and make sure you're prepared and you'll do just fine."
