Happening over the weekend, dozens of people will be heading to Stockdale High School to watch the crowning of the 2017 Miss Kern County Pageant.
The event is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday with the moment of the night, the crowning of Miss Kern County, set to strike around 6 p.m.
Miss Kern County is a preliminary for Miss California and eventually Miss America.
