Ted Cruz's campaign will open a Bakersfield office on May 2nd, a source tells 23ABC on Friday. 

Cruz campaign's office will open on Monday, May 2nd at 10am on 1901 Chester Ave.

The state primaries for the presidential election will be on Tuesday June 7. 

According to a recent CNN poll, Donald Trump is leading the support of California GOP voters with 39%.

Cruz is second place with 32%.
