New developments were released in the Tower Motel hit and run from this weekend that left one man dead.
23ABC News obtained police reports detailing Frank Hillman's account of the events.
Hillman told detectives that the victim, 41-year-old Shawn Bivins, approached his vehicle, asking for change and brandished a firearm.
Hillman said he drove away before telling police that he turned around to confront Bivins and hit him with his vehicle by accident.
The documents also show Hillman, the suspect, was involved in a fight at the county jail.
