Dignity Health Community Grants Program gives over $300,000 to local nonprofits

Eight Kern County nonprofits received checks totaling $328,126 from the Dignity Health Community Grants Program.

The following organizations received checks from the program to support their initiatives:

1. Alpha House: $75,000
2. Alzheimer's Disease Association of Kern County: $26,401
3. Saint Vincent De Paul Store and Center: $70,000
4. Bakersfield Senior Center: $30,000
5. Catholic Charities: $32,024
6. Leukemia and Lymphoma Society: $20,000
7. Links for Life: $50,000
8. Community Action Partners of Kern County: $24,701
