The Downtown Bakersfield Parking Garage will be looking a little different in response to input received from a community meeting.

One row (7 stalls) on the first floor of the parking garage and one stall on the second floor will be removed. The removal of the stalls will make it safer to enter and exit the parking garage. According to officials, the first floor stalls on the south side of the lane and the first floor handicap stalls will not be affected.

The work is scheduled to be completed tomorrow, Saturday, October 13 and will be completed within one day.
