BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A career felon was arrested overnight, once again, for violating his post-release supervision.
31-year-old Gilbert Anaya was arrested overnight after police found a loaded gun during a probation search in his home on North Baker Street.
During a quick search of the Superior Court website, authorities found criminal history dating back to 2004 for Anaya.
Anaya has violated his post-release supervision before, having pled no contest on charges that include robbery, assault, and possession of a firearm.
He was arrested last night for gun and gang related charges, as well as a probation violation.
