BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A man is scheduled to be sentenced today for his connection to a body that was found in a local orchard.
Ernesto Victor Lopez was one of three suspects believed to be connected to that murder.
He was originally facing a charge of first degree murder. But, he accepted a plea deal on false imprisonment with violence.
Sheriff’s Deputies found the burned body in an orchard off Highway 166.
Lopez is set to be in court at 8:30 this morning.
