Erskin Fire: 36k acres burned, 10 percent contained, 200 structures destroyed, 2 confirmed deaths

The Kern County Fire Department released updated information Sunday morning about the Erskine Fire. 

So far, the Erskine Fire has burned 36, 810 acres of land and is currently 10 percent contained. 

There are 1,712 personnel helping to battle the blaze and has cost $5 million.

Officials expect to contain the fire by June 30, 2016. 

Fire officials say 200 structures have been destroyed and 75 damaged. 

Officials have confirmed two fire related deaths, three firefighters were injured and possible human remains were found Saturday, although the Kern County Sheriff's Office has not confirmed if they were human remains or not.
