UPDATE (June 13, 2017 3 p.m.): The Coroner has identified the man killed as 29-year-old Johnathan Jose Saucedo of Bakersfield.

A fatal accident was reported involving a semi and an SUV south of Arvin Monday night.

The accident happened around 2:40 p.m. near S Edison Road and Herring Road.
